How to create FBA shipment in Amazon Seller Central

Create FBA shipment in Amazon Seller central + import data into ODB program

Before you import a FBA shipment to ODB, it must be first created in Amazon Seller Central. To do this go to the section "Inventory" -> "Manage FBA inventory" -> choose ASINs that need to be added to the shipment -> "Action on __ selected" -> "Send/replenish inventory".
Next, you need to check or enter the address from which the shipment will be sent (our address 3038 SW 42nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33312, Sender name - it is name of you Amazon account name). Next, enter the quantity that will be sent, choose who will pack the goods and stick them (choose the "No prep needed" option) and go to the stage of assigning an ID number to the shipment. Copy the shipment ID and your work in the Seller Central is over.

The instructions for creating a shipment in Seller Central are relevant only for Old workflow. If you do not have the opportunity to switch to the old version, but you can create shipment only through the "Send to Amazon" option, the process of creating shipment will differ from those described above, since the indication of the size of the boxes and their weight is taken out in the first stage. In this case, we recommend using the option to create a shipment from an ODB account. If you have any difficulties, please contact us.
If you have already created a shipment, you can easily find it by going to Inventory => Manage FBA Shipments => Shipping Queue =>Shipment ID column.

How to create a shipment in ODB

After you copied Shipment ID from Seller Central, go to the FBA Shipments Section and click the "NEW SHIPMENT +" button.
On the next page, select the option to create a shipment - Import existing shipment.
Next, enter the Shipment ID (1) and then click on the "Import Shipment" button (2).
If one of your items didn't appear, it means you don't have this item with the corresponding SKU in ODB item database. First, you need to go to Seller's items and import it. As soon as it finishes, go back to the Shipments section.
It is optional to enter shipment title, its cost and add a comment. These fields are optional.
Save shipment and change its status to the New. The shipments, which have the New status, will be prepped
As soon as the shipment is ready and we have all the necessary recourses, we will enter box dimensions and get shipment labels. After that, your shipment will be delivered to FBA and you get corresponding notification via our Telegram bot (in case you're subscribed).
Please note! After we added box dimensions, got shipment labels and the shipment status in OBD changed to Shipped, such shipment will have the Working status in the Seller Central. The information in the Seller Central will update automatically.

Adding or removing a product to the created shipping

If you need to add a product to the created FBA shipment, go to Seller Central and start to create a new FBA Shipment plan for the item you want to add. At the step of adding a name to the shipment, Amazon will offer you to add the item to the existing shipment. Select this item and select the desired ship ID from the drop-down list and finish creating the shipmen with the Approve & Continue key.
If you want to change the quantity or delete some ASIN, go to the section Seller Central Inventory -> Manage FBA Shipments -> Shipping Queue -> find the ID Shipment and click on the "Work on shipment" button.
After that, click the "Review and Modify units" button and make the necessary changes (change the quantity or delete the item)
Please note that you can change the amount within +/- 5% or 6 units.
After all changes, click on the "Work on another shipment" button at the bottom of the page
Important! You can add/remove the product only if shipment is steel in work!

How to remove a shipment?

If for some reason you need to remove a shipment, first of all, remove it from Seller Central. Go to the section Inventory => Manage FBA Shipments => Shipping Queue => find the required shipment and click on the "Work on shipment" => "Delete shipment" button at the very bottom of the page. After that, write a chat to ODB managers via Telegram to transfer the shipment to the "Draft" status. A shipment in the "Draft" status will be deleted automatically from the database after 90 days.
